THE BIRTH OF STUDIO STEENGOED

In September 2020, an Art Pitch was organized from the Municipality of Zwolle in which an incentive prize was offered for an innovative form of an existing art form. I’ve been making murals for about 20 years and had no idea how to add anything innovative until I read about the air-purifying paint on social media. Of course that was an easy add up. I have always loved to paint plants and flowers and this is of course the best thing to do with paint that has almost the same properties as natural plants. The story fit together perfectly. Without being arrogant it was no surprise that I received that prize and that’s how Studio Steengoed was born.
